Veterinary Assistant

Helee grew up in Greensboro, NC, and has been with the Austin Village family since just after opening in the Spring of 2019. She has been in the veterinary field for 22 years and has been a technician for 21 years. She started working as a kennel assistant and fell in love with the profession. She worked her way up, learning the skills she needed to become a technician. She has worked at private hospitals, emergency centers, and most recently a dental specialty hospital. She returned to practice at Austin Village Pet Hospital because she loves the connection between the pet owners, patients, and the medical team. She has her passion for Fear Free medicine doing everything she can to assure patients have a positive experience during their visit.

When she is not at work, Helee adores spending time with her two beagles, a boxer mix, and three cats. She’s an avid fan of music, nature, sports, and spending time with her life partner, who is a professor at Wingate University. They both enjoy living in the area and spending time with their fur-babies.

When not at work, she enjoys travelling, trying new foods and spending time with her daughter, Nora and her pit bull, Ophelia.

Born and raised in Pineville, NC, Narvice comes to us after an eighteen-year career in the real estate business. Having previously worked in the veterinary field, she has returned to her one true love, working with animals.

Her many years of dog sitting and volunteering with pets clearly show where her heart is. She shares her home with two amazing, but very spoiled, Pit Bull pups, Gracie and Ophelia. In her free time, Narvice enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
